Lesson 1: Welcome to the Soul Doll Online Course

Welcome. I'm so grateful you've chosen to be here.

In this opening lesson, I share the story of how Soul Dolls first came into my life during a season of deep transition, grief, and loneliness. What began as a quiet creative practice soon became something much more- a way of reconnecting with myself, finding comfort, and giving form to what words could not express.

I also share the evolution of Soul Dolls from their beginnings in the fall of 2023 to the heart-led practice and community they have become today. It has been a journey of trust, listening, and allowing each doll to reveal its own unique spirit.

As you begin this course, I invite you to pause before creating and set an intention for your own doll-making journey. This intention doesn't need to be complicated. It may be a feeling you'd like to cultivate, a chapter you're moving through, a prayer, a memory, or simply a desire to reconnect with your creativity and yourself.

There is no expectation to create perfectly. This is a space to explore, to trust your intuition, and to allow your hands to become an extension of your heart. Each doll you create will carry its own story, and in many ways, it will also reflect parts of your own.
